We're concerned about the progress Star Wars Battlefront is doing on the PSP. It's an exclusive for Sony's handheld, but it appears it might be too ambitious for its own good. Although graphics aren't the only thing a gamer should look for in a game, when the framerate appears to be as choppy as it is, we get worried. Maybe Rebellion can add some more detail and smoothness to the game with the new 333MHz option that was recently unlocked? This game can use all the help it can get.

I am really hopeful they can tweak this out before it ships. It does look laggy and stuttery.

The first PSP game chugged along quite poorly and was stiff as a board to play, which was maybe forgivable when it was a launch title, but we know the PSP is capable of way more than this, even when developers only had 222mhz to play with.
I can't see me parting with any cash for this.

I think they will tweak it even further and take advantage of the 333 Mzh. I am looking forward to this game.

As a long time PSP owner (since Day 1), I would love to see Sony allow all developers access to the full 333mhz CPU power. I am never far from a electrical outlet and rarely play more than 3~6 hours a day anyway.

You're insane, balloon man. This looks like crap. Framerate hasn't improved a bit since the game was first unveiled... so I'm a little worried as well. Low framerate = Uglyness + Unplayability.
Let's just hope it gets improved...

I would agree about its overambitiousness
I'd say on anything with the GC's power on up, this game would rule, but currently you just have to lol at the physics
I hope this becomes a good game, Rebellion is usually high quality
