no game is guarantee a hit. PSP fans are too smart to dish out mad money for crappy games solely based on names alone. Heck, if I'm that stupid, I'd be a Nintendo fans buying Mario Party 8. ;)

It will be an interesting few months, We will see what game will sell more in NA next year, GoW or Crisis Core.

i just called in and asked about it, they said that they're only giving them out qith pre-oreders..but that was only one of the 5 eb games/gamestops around me, so i'll see what i can pull off

Just trying hassling my local Gamestop employee for one, but no luck. Apparently you have to reserve the game to get the demo. Anybody else have any luck?

Sony was giving the demos away at Wizard World Philly, so I'm sure they'll give them away at any other convention they're at.

ok my friend said when the nba 07 demo came out that he got a UMD demo in the mail...will sony do the same for this?

Just picked one up from the GameStop at the South Street Seaport here in NYC. They we're only giving them to people who placed pre-orders (for any game), so I pre-ordered FFII since I was going to pick it up anyhow, and walked away with the demo.

Yeah, they gave it to me too when I mentioned being excited about the new game. Just find a friendly, talkative employee and buddy up with them. That's what I did.

I hope they make the demo downloadable. But then again, it would require the latest firmware, so guess not much point anyway.

Bullshit!! I went to my Gamestop around my house and asked an employee for the demo. That dude was as tough as rocks! He would'nt even let me SEE the damn thing! Hope you guys have luck with your trials but unless your employee doesnt really care about the demo you ain't getting it. Peace.

I played the first game on the PS and I loved it. I'm not a huge fan though. I played the demo you guys had on the site and I didn't really like it that much because I did not understand it. I'm willing to give it another try and plus, why wouldn't I want a FREE demo? Hope you guys signed up for one too.

It sucks we don't get the demo UMDs here in the UK...I don't see why they couldn't do demo UMDs as covermounts for an official magazine or something.

Played through the demo.
Holy hell, it's awesome!
Anyways, it seems to be the entire CG intro and a good chunk of Episode 1 Part 1.
It LOOKS great and PLAYS better. I'm ashamed to say I've barely touched previous Syphon Filter titles.
Oh, it requires/comes with the 3.40 firmware.

This would be a HUGE downloadable demo with the intro and severely SUCK without it. Looks like you should pony up the reserve money.
