It shouldn't come as surprising that two of PSP's best games is joining the Japanese "The Best" budget lineup. Each game will come at the discounted price of 2800 yen. Jeanne d'Arc will be re-released on July 5th, and Tekken: Dark Resurrection will come a week after.North American gamers will be able to get a taste of Level 5's latest SRPG, Jeanne d'Arc, later this summer.

I own a copy of Tekken, paid full price on it, 50 bucks, I think it's the only game I ever paid full price on. (most of them are either used or when it's onsale)
I wonder how it sold, I'm thinking, probably near a million worldwide? It was such a great game. now people who didn't get to try it the first time, can experience it now at a lower cost.

yes, I did ask for that, and thank you very much for bringing that up.
but due to the new PSP design rumour, I might wait until probably the last day of the sale before I commit to it. After all, the possibility (regardless how slim it might be) of having a redesigned PSP with 8GB internal harddrive for the same price is just sick. :)

Well...those details have been repeated so many times...Maybe Kotaku needed 1 positive PSP story for the week or something...Sony has already said they will not entertain selling the PSP at a loss so how they could do 8GB flash, improved screen etc for 169 is incomprehensible to me.

now, now, let's not forget the comical statement of improvement of battery life of up to 4 fold. LOL, That would put PSP in a category of 20 hours battery life for video that no other portable device in the history of time has achieved. not UMC, not PMP, not IPhone, and surely not my 80GB Ipod.
I swear to god they probably had a meeting in the editor's office and put up all the improvement that people want PSP to have and made that rumour up themselves.
