Ready for a game of tennis? Namco Bandai recently sent us some new screenshots from their upcoming PSP-exclusive
Smash Court Tennis, and it certainly looks like ... well, tennis. At the very least, this game will feature Game Sharing, so friends can play against each other with
just one UMD. Namco's support of this feature has been quite nice, as it can also be found in the
upcoming Naruto fighter. Now, if only Namco can combine these two great tastes into one game:
Smashing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Tennis Heroes, anyone?

Love the game sharing - this is one of those things that seems so simple and so few companies actually do. My kids get *tons* of mileage on DS game-sharing ... 'bout time for more of it on the PSP.
I hope this is decent - I love Virtua Tennis World Tour, and while Virtua Tennis 3 was good, it was disappointing in that it was barely an incremental improvement.

A word on game sharing: It's not easy to get, I think developers for PSP-sized high-quality titles still have problems with it. For example, Burnout takes AAAAGEESS for just one race to start, and it needs to reload tons of stuff for each re-race. I think the problem is that the content of PSP-games is much bigger than of DS-games. (After all, there's 1.2 (or was it 1.8?) Gigs available on a UMD vs. usually 512MB on a DS-cartridge, which is still rarely used up)

The DS cartidge is much smaller , only 128 or 256 mb . But the fact is that you can make good game-sharing games and the best ex. is Tekken DR . Im not really into it , mostly because I play games alone :?

Looks fine from afar... hope it looks OK up close, unlike Virtua Tennis 3. VT3 is a fine game on PSP but boy it looks ugly during cutscenes... lazy lazy Sega.
Anyway! The last Smash Court Tennis game I played was the 2nd one on PS2 and it was an OK game, so I'll keep my expectations high with this one. Besides, one can trust Namco in the graphics dept., no ugly crap comes from them.

I agree Virtua Tennis World Tour is much better than Virtua Tennis 3. I hope this game had good gameplay like VTWT. The graphics look good, but they all look good, it comes down to how well it plays.
