I'm very open to all sorts of games, be it genre or game rating. That being said, I've noticed that, more often than not, I'm buying mostly M-rated games. It's not a huge surprise to me. If given the option, I'd rather shoot someone in a game than shake their hand. It is a bit unique to a portable system though, and while I don't only love the PSP because I can play M rated games on it, I do appreciate it. Are you similar to me in this regard? If the ESRB were to give a blanket rating to your PSP game collection, what would it be? Did you get the PSP partly because of the ability to play more M rated games? How would the ESRB rate your game collection?

My overall game collection is rated T.
Honestly, most games rated M are unappealing to me. GTA is fun, but I've only bought one of them. You don't need excessive violence to have fun. And I'd honestly prefer to have fun without having see blood gushing all over the screen. It's not really necessary.
I didn't buy the PSP at all to buy more M rated games on a portable platform. While I despise much of the DS kid games as much as the next gamer, I don't need M rated games. I don't even own one rated M title for the psp.
My two favorite PSP games are Daxter and Bounty Hounds, if that says anything. They're both T.

Actually, Daxter is E.
Just wanted to catch that before someone else did.

Just as Steven says, I don't like my PSP JUST BECAUSE I can play M-rated games on it... I love it because I can play all kinda games. That said, I definetely believe I've enjoyed many games regardless of their rating.
Anyway. Even tho M-rated games aren't a reason for me to get a console ... I do certainly appreciate the possibility of them being available. Virtual bloody violence can work wonders on your stress levels, you know?
Just leave the pussy attitude to Nintendo. They know how that works.

Overall, my games would be a T+. When you factor in the Medal of Honor and Burnout against Go! Sudoku and Loco Roco, it is almost a wash. I definitely have more games that are rated T or M than E.

(Steve? Who's Steve?)
Anyway, I would probably rate my collection T. I only have one M title and that's SOCOM: FTB (not the 2nd, that one is rated T)
so...yeah...

As of the games I own right now, the majority is a [T] rating, with [E]&[E10+], and [M] - 5 games and 12 games respectively - behind [T]. This doesn't include the imports because I'm too lazy to check which CERO (?) level they have.
I got a PSP because my father got one for free which he then passed on to me. I planned to get one sooner or later, not for [M] rated games, but just for good games so it does not matter to me.

Personally, My Game collection would be probably a T mostly for quantity. I have both GTAs MGS:PO and Infected, but the great majority of my other games are rated T. I might not even have any E rated games in my collection. But this is not to say that I don't get joy out of good clean games. I liked playing Mario on my brother's DS before he got rid of it, and I like a lot of similar E-rated franchises, but I just buy what I think is fun.

I guess my average would be 'M', leaning strongly towards the 18 area. I only have like two games that are T and below.

I like a variety of genres. I do have a young nephew so I pay close attention to the games he plays on my PSP & Xbox.
The majority of my Xbox games are T & M-rated. But most of my PSP games are rated E & E10+. One of the things that attracted me to a Sony game system is that I knew there'd be more E-rated games.... there aren't a lot of "cute" games for the Xbox, like Loco Roco. It's more a stylistic approach rather than simply ESRB, and when it comes to that certain "cute" style, Xbox doesn't really have it, Ninendo has it in spades, and Sony is somewhere in the middle. The PSP can do "cute", but it also has more serious or "M-rated" games... I appreciate that diversity.

I bought my PSP primarily to play fighting games and JRPG's so as one would expect my games all lean towards the T rating. I don't buy my games based on rating, but considering that E game are rare throughout the entirety of my rather large game collection I must have some sort of bias towards games marketed to an older audience. I want to say the only M rated game I have for PSP is GTA, and I only own that because my roomate was selling it back to EB for like 2$ and I decided to pay him instead.
