Anyone getting the PSP Core for $169 is saving themselves a nice $30 off the previous regular retail price. With savings like that, some new PSP owners may be wondering what to do with the money saved. Being the helpful folks we are, we're going to give you a few suggestions.
- Buy a PSP game (after all, you need something to play in your new handheld)
- Buy a memory stick (because a PSP without a memory stick is a sad PSP)
- Get a travel case (so you can take it all on the go
- Buy a Japanese Adult UMD (you know why already)

I would suggest getting a memory stick first then downloading a bunch of demos if you don't have anymore money.
...at least that's what I did...

I want one, but the ubiquitous question that always arises is – is there a new PSP coming out and should I wait?

The only thing that kind of pervertedness will do is turn parents from buying their kids psp. Stop it

Please... That's like saying that parents wouldn't by a DVD player for their household because, *gasp* porn is released on DVD format.
Children can't buy this stuff either because it's still subject to the same age laws and it's not as if they sell the stuff at, oh, say Wal-Mart or Target.
Relax...

My top five are: 1-Buy one (or better 2) screen protectors!, 2-Get a large memory stick 4GB, 3-Get GTA LCS (unpatched of course), 4-Get a 2-in-1 USB cable for PC-to-PSP transfer and charger, 5-Hard travel case or soft pouch to protect the handheld
Any other accesory is optional: earphones or headphones, large speakers & subwoofer, additional backup batteries, car charger, WiFi access point router, hand straps or necklace, larger joystick, external battery charger, hand-grips, SD memory adapter, faceplates, UMD carring case, FM transmitter, car or desk stand with remote control, cassete adapter for car, etc.
If you sum... that is much more than $30... but it worth it ;-)
