Homebrew MMO Final Fantasy game releases
The "fraking awesome" MMO homebrew game, Triple Triad, is (as expected) finally out. The game is available both for PSP and PC play, and has players competing in a highly expanded version of Final Fantasy VIII's card game. Further details (and download) can be found at DCEmu. Non-members can visit QJ.net for the download as well.

I am still surprised to see that these people haven't received a cease and desist letter from Square-Enix's lawyers yet.

Perhaps Squre-Enix, other than Sony, likes fan-driven projects. After all, imitation is the kindest form of flattering, or something like that.

Square's not a big fan of, well, fans. Remember the Chrono Trigger revival? This will get shot down. The only question is: when?

...and the real sad part being that this is probably something we would've wanted from Square, but won't ever get.

I got this game the day it came out and it is pretty bland. Also for people who have never played the game very dishearting. After playing the computer and understanded the game I jumped online and the first (successful) connection i got I played against some one with AA cards for ever corner.
the highest card in my set had like a 7... wtf was that?
