The PSP puzzler Every Extend Extra was plenty extreme as-is: but that's not stopping Mizuguchi-san and his Q? Entertainment cohorts from amping up the game in an XBLA follow-up to this oft-neglected puzzler/shooter. This is not the first time that one of Q? Entertainment's PSP titles has jumped ship to Microsoft's home console: Lumines released on the digital distribution platform, fueling an incredible controversy over the value of microtransactions.
Considering the game's lackluster sales performance on Sony's handheld, it shouldn't come as surprising that the game would move to another platform. The game joins an increasingly growing list of once-exclusive titles that have moved on: Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories being just a few notable examples.

Please tell me again why a game being ported to another system somehow diminishes its value or playability on the PSP.
I'm usually on board with whatever PSP Fanboy thinks about stuff and things, but this morbid fascination and jealousy from porting titles is confusing.
Apart from the ethical concerns over Rockstar going against their previous statements and releasing GTA:VCS on PS2, I just don't see what the harm is.

I'm also astonished as to why do games HAVE to be PSP exclusives. Lumines came out on Live? Fine, a lot of people can still play it on the PSP. Same thing goes for the GTA:Stories series. And E3 shall be no exception.
Unless you only play your PSP at home - by which point your purchase of a handheld already lost some value as it is - there is no chance that having some PSP games multiplatform will make them less appealing to play on a PSP.

like I tol you guys quit complaining that the psp doesnt have orignial games or exclusive games or 2d games in general cause nobody buys them in the first place thus most psp owners dont want them anyway. they want the gtas, ea type games, raing, etc. dont you think if people wanted ds type games on the psp theyd make them isntead of racing and sport games? there is a reason they dont. So why do you ds fanbos keep complaining about the psp because it doesnt have original games cause ur the minority cause psp users dont want them so complain somwhere else.
btw, do you really think if it did sell well theyd actually not port it to xbox live or somwhere else when its so easy to do since the psp doesnt have a touch screen unlike the ds?SS

whats sad is that most devs have already gave up on the psp and switched to the ds or are porting psp games to other platforms:

http://ps2.ign.com/objects/824/824776.html
http://ps2.ign.com/objects/853/853809.html
not to mention the gtas esp since the first one sold really well I have no idea why they ported it, same thing with tekken, it almost sold a million yet they still ported it to the sp3 network and it was sony msot likely requesting this cause why would namco do it on a dead platform liek the ps3?. If a sp2 game does bad like okami or ico they sotn port it but even if a psp game does good like lcs they still port it.
whats funny is when they get released on the sp2 due to the large ammount of great games on the paltform they get mediocre ratings while on the psp are praised as hit games.

2 things,
1. there's nothing wrong about devs trying to make as much money as possible, even going cross platform. it's in their betst interest,... (except when you look at hte 20 top selling games of all time most were exclusive to a single console.)
2. i don't care about lumines and EEE going to XBLA, what bugs me is no announcement yet of it going to the PSN. (which would be cool, esp if they integrated psp to ps3 multiplayer.)

The thing is, those games aren't exclusive to XBL either.
As soon as PSN is sorted out (and Home seems to be an indication of good times to come), devs will likely port many games there.
Although, having a cheaper Tekken 5 to play from the HDD hardly sounds like a reason to complain to me...
