Got Valkyrie Profile Lenneth (plus a couple $2 PS2 games) at my local Best Buy, but there really wasn't much there. I was hoping for a copy of Daxter, but it was not meant to be.

I went to the local BB, but no such luck. They weren't having any sort of sale like this; only a few games were marked down.

Mr. Yoon I suggest next time you say whether its a local BestBuy event or a nationwide BestBuy event..

I went to my local BestBuy and they have heard no such thing and when I phoned BestBuy, they said they heard of no such thing. Or the event is so small that their customer reps weren't even notified about it.

It's not a sale, it's clearance, thus no advertising. Probably all the cheapo price tags printed out this morning, which explains why by the time I stopped by Best Buy, the section was SPOTLESS. And I don't mean spotless as in everything was sold out, spotless as in games like Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins and Me & My Katamari, which I saw there Saturday, were pulled from the shelves and probably shipped off to some distribution center.

Basically, we got hosed as absolutely none of the games on this, the DS, GC and 360 lists were in stock, and the section was perfectly lined up as if no games were missing. Fucking clownshoes.

And I know this, because I worked at Best Buy when they were doing a clearance on lots of older PS2 and GC games, and management told us to pull them to be shipped out. Basically, if you could find any of those games, you're lucky the staff missed 'em.

Can anyone confirm that this is running in Canada (eh)? I think this is what people were expecting when the UMD video format started it's requiem, but I'm surprised they would do this with the games.

There wasnt anything at my local BB, not even a place where they might have been, things look liked they always looks. Also, none the games on that list were even there. Maybe they got shipped off somewhere.

Went to my local best buy and they told me it was a hoax, someone was spreading the rumors cause the in store prices were still the same... no such luck ; ;

This is just a clearance for one Best Buy. Theres so many of them that yes, two or more may have this. If you really want to know, phone your local best buys. After two weeks, they ship these stuff back to the company.
Clearance sales don't make it to all stores, its just a local thing.

I went to several, and none of these games were there. In fact NO old games were. No hoax though, if you go to best buy online they actually had one of these games on there at $1.99.....sold out! Makes sense though, pull the merchandise and get rid of it. Then if there is any mis-stocked discount it to sell for less than it will cost you to ship it by its lonesome. Though it seems to me they could have sold the games at less of a discount and moved most of them in a sale? say buy one get one, or 50% off.

yea.. i went to the Vernon Hills IL bestbuy... nothing there... man.. u got me so excited.... like that one time in july about the 8.96 psp games
