PSP gamers are all too familiar with games where you drive around and kill people. But that won't stop Ubisoft from releasing Driver 76, an exclusive new addition to the Driver franchise. Driver 76 will feature 27 new missions set in NYC in the 70s (back when it was actually a dangerous place to live). Like a certain other well-known carjacking franchise, this game will feature an open-world environment for you to explore and an "authentic" soundtrack.
While this may seem overly familiar, one feature stands out as a clear draw for me: downloadable content. The press release mentions downloadable paintjobs, but hopefully, we'll also see new game content as well.

Andrew, you just hit my "game journalist" pet peeve nerve. There will in fact be NO downloadable content - if there was, they'd put that info in the press release. Game companies always over promise and under deliver, not the other way around - or do you have some inside information (that you didn't state above)? We'll be lucky if there are downloadable paint jobs. Do yourself (and the rest of us) a favor and stick to reporting the facts, keep your "hopes and dreams" out of your stories.
To me, there is no standout feature of this title.

"• Multiplayer Games and Downloadable Content – Games include Street Racing, Destruction Derby, Pink Slip Racing and Swap Meet. Also download new paintjobs to use on your collected vehicles in the garage."
Next time read the whole thing Vito. Is it really that hard to believe that we can download a new color? Doesnt sound like too much trouble. Also, dont speak for me.

The main character looks like Travis Bickle.

NoBullets, sorry I wasn't clear. The article stated that "but hopefully, we'll also see new game content as well". It was that "new game content" - over and above the paint jobs that it in fact is a stretch to believe will be made available. I bought the PSP because of the potential of Gran Turismo Mobile - and we're all still waiting...

I have always loved the Driver series. But recently, I have grown to hate it for the flawed, GTA copy that it is.. :(
