The potentially canceled, or un-canceled, PSP version of Gran Turismo 4 has just shifted its release date once again on the GameStop website. The retailer is notorious for accidentally revealing crucial release info, but in this case, we're willing to bet that they're simply moving the date so that they can still hold on to pre-orders (some undoubtedly made nearly two years ago!).The game is now listed as to come out on July 2nd. While that may seem like an eternity away, it'll be the slight glimmer of hope for those of you that don't want to believe in its vaporware status.

I never got into Gran Turismo. I will happily pick up Test Drive Unlimited and zip around Hawaii a bit!

I do not understand why they do not port and release the first 3 Gran Turismo's? I would love to see Gran Turismo 3 A-spec especially. It take them ENTIRELY to long to release any of these Gran Turismo games anyway, to the point that I really do not like to mess with them any more.

I pulled my preorder months ago! If Sony ever announces an official release date I'll preorder it again. If it comes out at all I predict a Fall 2008 release.

This game was one of the reasons I picked up a PSP at launch.
Now it seems like a GT UMD will never find its way into my PSP.
At least give us a PS2 version to download. Oh wait, I don't have a PS3.
Ok first give us access to the PS store without a PS3. Then GT2 or GT3.
