When Burnout 5 was announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, current-gen system owners felt somewhat neglected. Well, it appears that Electronic Arts is giving the Sony current-gen platforms some love through an all new Burnout game called Burnout Dominator. "The series was born on the PlayStation 2, and Burnout Dominator is about celebrating the essence of Burnout," said Nick Channon, Senior Producer of Burnout Dominator.
"Celebrating the essence" of the franchise makes this upcoming game sound a lot like PSP's Burnout Legends, which was an amalgamation of various games from the acclaimed series. Considering how excellent Legends was, PSP gamers have a lot to look forward to.
(Of course, a DS version wasn't announced. Probably because the first DS Burnout was a horrible idea.)

God I hope this comes soon and becomes better then Legends. I lost my copy of Burnout Legends and I resisted buying a new copy of Legends because, knowing EA, they were going to release a new version of Burnout.
Also I didn't really like the music in the Burnout Legends, I'm hoping that will be improved, and that they don't change mechanics from Legends to Burnout Revenge (traffic checking makes the game too easy).
Man I complain a lot. lol

Yuck...Burnout was one of those games that just played and looked better on the Xbox.
I'd get it for the PSP though.

For me,
I don't even play other driving games anymore. It's just that when I feel like playing a driving game, I feel like playing a burnout game.
Yea the DS version was a total waste. One of the things that led me to get a psp.
The one thing they really need to improve this time are the load times.

"The ds version was the suck,"
I fully agree; the PSP version was much better, albeit still not feeling of a proper Burnout game. Hopefully this new iteration makes Burning out on the go fun.

In this latest Burnout, some of the tracks will be located in Malaysia where in the screen shot at Gamespot, you can see the road sign stated locations like Seremban, Kajang and Bangi that are located in some states in Malaysia.
