that has to be a joke because later he/she says:
"what if I carefully open up another UMD container thingy take THAT disc out and put the other in its place? will that work or are the containers unique for each game? Id much rather have a working copy of 50 Cent Bullet Proof than GTA."
and he keeps on being stupid later...
boy that first comment was funny though!

Yeah, laugh all you want! I cry when I read this, since my older sister broke my THPS UMD, while she tried exactly the same. I could stop her early enough so I could still tape it, though.

LOL. Man this guy wins the idiot of the year award. He didn't notice that the disc only fits in the psp with case on. or did he bother to notice that there is a piece of the plastic missing from the bottom exposing the disc to laser in psp. Well i admit a also had a broken UMD (wipeout pure) "whimper" the top part of the UMD concaved in against the disc. I very carefully removed the locks on the UMD's case and removed the disc very carefully and wrapped in a very soft cloth. After that i pressed the part on the broken case up against the original part where it came from and held it up using tissues. Then I applied some water to the area from which it tore from. Then i applied some Gorilla Snot (Special Glue). and held it there for about a night starting from 9.00pm to 11.00am. i removed the extra glue crust by carefully using my finger. Finally i put the disc back in it's place. and held the part of the UMD where i ripped it open from. and applied the water then glue. but i placed it in a mini-vice to prevent it from opening again. (don't pressure it too tight, just hold it firm) after 9 hours or so. i removed the extra crusts and looked at my fixed UMD. Very clean and pretty. with some slight invisable ripples on the top. hey but what ever it runs good. No i didn't apply glue to the disc like that the UMD help guy up there^^.

All the guy had to do is open his manual 2 PAGES, JUST TO PAGE 4 and look at"playing games" and then go to page 32 looked at
2. Insert umd (page 25)
and all would have been fine.
I also thought i had to open the case but then i thought:
1. why would they waste money on a plastic case if you dont use it?
2. why would they make it with no way to open it?
3. And last but not least why is there a space on the back for the laser to read it?

Obviously a spoof because no one as stupid as this guy AND his mate - who supposedly lent him a game (would you if he told you why he needed it?) - would be able to remember to breath in and out regularly enough to supply their brains with enough oxygen to enable them to walk and talk, let alone type in a forum.
This stuff wasn't even funny when the PSP came out...
