The biggest addition to Lumines' sequel has to be licensed music videos. The game will feature music from Beck, Black Eyed Peas, Chemical Brothers, and more. Eurogamer has a new video up showcasing New Order's Regret. There were some concerns that the music videos may be too distracting, but from what I can see in this video, it looks like everything's going to be fine.Lumines II hits stores on November 7th. And unlike the Xbox Live version of Lumines, this won't be a glorified demo.

I don't know. That song really doesn't sound right for Lumines to me. The music video's don't seem like a big change. That is why I won't be buying the sequel ( If I do at all) untill it is at a price of about $20 Canadian. The original should give me my Lumines fix.

I'll stick with the "glorified demo" on 360 and Lumines 1 for PSP. Adding things like Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, etc. is what prevents me from buying new versions. I wasn't going to buy the 360 version until I learned they didn't have those lame videos in it. You have to pay to get them I guess. That's why I like the pricing stucture. I get what I want.
