The Sega Genesis Collection videos just keep rolling in. There's already been four games shown, and now we get to see even more great games in action with Phantasy 2 and Golden Axe.
Are you guys as excited for this badboy as I am?

I'm pretty psyched about PSII. I never finished it on the Genesis, one of few RPGs I ever really got into. Looking forward to finally getting through it after 15 years!

Ohhhh
I thought it was going to be Phantasy Star 4. Two was okay but I have that on my gba. Four was the real kickass episode.

For those of you with the ability to run homebrew, Genesis runs at 100%. Just an fyi.
Anyway, after playing it for a bit a few months ago, PS2 didn't age well for me... PS4, on the other hand, is still fun to this day. Even new schoolers may be able to appreciate the charm.

Harder/longer does not equate "better."
And Phantasy Star III was harder and longer than both 2 and 4.

"Why wouldn't you just emulate these games? I already own the catridges, and PC "collection" ports and the GBA versions....I don't want to pay for them a 4th time."
So I assume you find the downloadable Wii NES, SNES and N64 games a ripoff?
Then go use an emulator and quit for neverending whining. The rest of us will support the developer for releasing a solid collection of some great classics with properly mapped controls, save states, etc.

All these games on a UMD? As in, a legal purchase? Sounds alright to me.

Phantasy Star II is elite. I challenge any of you to think of a harder/longer RPG these days. Also, the music was probably the best use of the Genesis' FM sound, probably ever.
