It only feels like yesterday when we were taking advantage of the libtiff exploit on firmware 2.80 to play Tetris. (It was just three days ago.) Well, it appears that the amazingly talented homebrew community has come up with yet another relatively simple game to run on our systems: Pong. Although these games aren't complex, the utter simplicity of installing and launching these programs has made homebrew so much more attractive to me as of late. Simply download the program [WinRAR required], extract it into your PSP's PHOTO directory, and then launch the program by going to the PHOTOS area of your XMB.If you encounter any problems, try pressing START instead of X when trying to launch the game.

I seem to have a defective PSP. All my 2.8 does is freeze and/or reboot. This is starting to bother me. Some people say start a slideshow, some say try three times but mine doesn't work damnmit. I wanna play pong and tetris.

try sticking the loader into the photo folder under /PSP/ and running it
i have had this problen too, but i've found that (if a UMD is in the drive) opening the UMD door allows me to start pong and tetris consistently

Is it possible that you two with the freezing problems are using TA-82 PSPs?

Not sure if this will work for you,but did for me.
Don't open the pic, just open the first folder "Pong" then let it set for a couple seconds. it should load the game. If you hit the "X" to open the pic it may lock up.

In answer to Silver R. Wolfe. Although I can't see the IC1003 on the motherboard. It states PSP-1003 under the battery so I guess I have a TA-82 PSP and can't run the new 2.80 homebrew. No problem, I'm sure I'm not missing much...
