I'm not real clear on what you mean by encryption but I do know you can enter a wep key into the DS, so that has to help a little. I hate to rain on the fanboy parade but I think the DS and the PSP are both great systems. I know, I'm no fun at all. :) The Video's are great fun though, keep em coming!

Capcom CPS1, Capcom CPS2, Gameboy Advance (is that right? well think so!!), Gameboy/Gameboy Colour, Gamegear, Master System, Genesis (Megadrive),MAME (Arcade), Neo Geo MVS, Neo Geo CD, Nes, Nintendo64 (WTF!! you mean for real ?!?! yes its in early stages but showing some very good progress) PC Engine, ScummVM
Snes(No this is too much!!! Believe me, it´s true), to name a few other? now if they could count how many games you can play on it, they would change their minds !! not to name good homebrews out there like ebook readers, video streaming and so ..
What about VOIP? GPS?
opps i was forgeting, about opera browser good for you boys... even my cellphone has better broswer including flash support(ohh sorry, they might not know what is that !!! :P).

thats just sad. really really sad. and to top it off, the list of DS "extra functions" is really really bad - the PSP can do all that (except picto chat) and more Internet, flash, video, mp3, avc, acc, photo, slideshow, firmware, PS1 emulation, RSS, LocationFree, 1.8GB UMD, expansive settings, bigger LCD, widescreen, GPS, Digital Camera, microphone, better graphics, better games, Game demos, downloadable game content, game sharing, 16 player online multiplayer, 11 player ad hoc, I could go on but there are way too much things to think about in one sitting. :D

Of course the claims and bias shown in the videos are ridiculous, they are parodying that crazy PSP fanboy's comparision video that was posted here the other day! You know, that one that only showed kiddy games for the DS. The same one that listed a huge list of PSP features the DS could do. I wonder why these DS videos did the inverse of that?! Gasp!

Oh come on. Dont get started about wpa and CERTAINLY not about wpa2. As WPA2 is only used in big networks. It is safe (no reports of being cracked whatsoever last time I checked), but also hard to implement.
Also hacking a wifi-network is NOT the same as hacking the ds on it. The reason that apple is 'safer' is because most of the virusses and trojans are written for windows. Does ds or psp run windows, i don't think so. No system is really safe, but let me reassure you, all your psp's and ds-es are safe. Hell, my 64-bit WEP hasn't been hacked yet. You need the materials to do that...

NINTENDO FANBOY HERE! The ds, is a games console. Granted, you can play UMD's on a psp. Oh no wait, thats a bad thing, cartridges have always been faster, and they dont load into a cassette tape like joltable area. Well, its got... a long batter.... oh no wait. Er, *taps the desk*. Any game ive got on my ps2 i can for £30 out for exactly the same copy on the PSP? no wait, hang on these are all bad things. Nope, youre all right. Okay so im being unfair, well i guess the psp is at the top of the hardware char... the software char.... seriously? its not top of anything? Do you guys actually have any fun? or is it just the waving it around, saying to your mates... i can watch dvd's on this, only for your other mates to tell you, yes, but arent they on that format sony are tring to drop. All sony need to do to improve it to better than is behemoth standard that it already is, is to make it play fun games. Not adult games we can all be cool about, "yeah i F****d this bird in GTA last night it was well sweet", but ones you go home and ACTUALLY enjoy.

This is one of the greatest things that I like. I have never played any of the prince of persian games on ps2 but I loved it on PSP. Do you think that ppl play the same games that they have at home on the psp. NO!!! they play games that they dont have that are equivalent to the ps2 version. Duh. I think the ds is fine but im just not intersted, I keep my game, mp3, video, browser (even though i used my pda phone for that), picture, and car stereo psp. You dont understand that its not that everything has to be used but that it can be used. I feel like sony gave too much for $200, that not the american corporate way. Glad there coming to their senses with the PS3...

For those who take the games market focus seriously. What sony is doing is destryoing the games market, theyre integrating their technology to make profit, not to make better games or platforms for developers to create on. Hence all of the ports, the un inspired shooters, its all to easy for them to re hash and produce nog standard mainstream 'cool' games. If they had released it without the game function, it wouldnt have sold, but would have replaced your mp3 video etc. they use playstation to sell thier cheap technologies to users by puttin it in sexy casing. Is not the cell theyre selling you in the PS3, money they spent on that was all for publicity, in a few years they'll be running them off for nothing. You are the living brainwashed support for their flailing blu-ray, using all of these trademarks, they are standardising their marketing. If they had said, bigger storage disks and better processer it wouldnt sound as amazing. And as far as game purists would discuss this with you. gaming IS about being used! as long as people tag it on to the end of everything, then it is on its road to EA saturation, and eventually death.

I disable encryption on my router. Just use a MAC filter, and only supply X number of DHCP IP's for wireless users...

Then again if you have WRT54G you can have 4 different SSID's with different encryptions and other such rules.
