Devil May Cry for the PSP made a brief reappearance today, as did Gran Turismo 4 Mobile. The "indefinitely delayed" game was pushed aside so that the development team can finish their work on the PlayStation 3 follow-up in the Gran Turismo series. Once they're done with that (and who knows how long that'll take?), the development team expects to move onto finishing the PSP game.Sadly, it appears that the game probably could've been released much earlier: "We've reached the stage where a GT4 equivalent runs on the PSP hardware," Polyphony Digital commented to Eurogamer. While the PSP doesn't suffer from a lack of racing titles, it's disappointing to see one of Sony's premiere development studios simply abandoning work on the handheld.

P-digis games are worth the wait. ("P-digi" i should trademark that one.) and in all honestly. i'm glad they are keeping what's important first. the quality first mentality is always a better one. i gave up on waiting for GT4M sometime last year anyway.

Ha! PS3 isn't coming until March in Europe so the notion of concentrating resources on development for that vapourware sounds silly.
Hey Sony & Partners, PS3 is going to bomb so concentrate on the current market eh?

Well I'm happy. This confirms that Gran Turismo 4: Mobile exists and hasnt been 'forgotten' about by Polyphony.

I spent my $5 Gamestop GT Mobile pre-order on NASCAR! Yet another example of Polyphony Digital delays!

Farking corksoakers. I am boycotting sony until GT4 mobile is released. No more psp or ps2 games for me, no PS3, no cell phones, no mp3 players, no sony anything. I hope M$ comes out with an x-box branded portable so I can kick this useless(but pretty) locked-down peice of tech to the curb.
