Hacker master Fanjita has uncovered what could be the doorway to getting homebrew apps on PSPs with firmware update 2.5. A demo called Hello World was successfully compiled via a goof in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which allows unsigned code to be run via the game's save file. Nothing's happened yet as far as running available homebrew through the exploit, but an eboot loader should be available soon enough. Yes, people; this is a sign of things to come. And I, for one, welcome our coming homemade apps and UMD loaders.[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

Yes. Yes. I am PSP 2.5, and I am so waiting for a chance to play the emulated games. I hope it becomes available as soon as possible.

Actually, fanjita didn't discover it, he is currently trying to work with it. it is based on edisoncarter's GTA:LCS cheat device which allowed modification of the game.

So, what have we here? More embedded material in a GTA game or just an alteration wholly caused by a mod? Senator Clinton and I are dying to know.
